Grazing Daily Animal Art Oils by Patty Ann Sykes

Grazing”
18 x 24 Original Oils on Canvas
$325.00
Recently, while cleaning and reorganizing
my studio,( which seems way too often),
I found this unfinished painting that I had
started about 5 years ago.  I usually do not
leave a painting unfinished. I literally forgot
about this one.  I tried to paint it in a more
looser style.  I really had fun reworking this
one!

Coneflowers @ Pickerington Ponds Daily Landscape by Patty Ann Sykes

Coneflowers @ Pickerington Ponds”
9x12 Original Oils on
Raymar Panel $139.00
I finally made it outside
to plein air paint on Saturday
with my friend Hilda.  We painted
at Pickerington Ponds.  It was very hot
and muggy and we also had a
rain shower.  But it was fun.
I set up at the entrance because the
purples and yellows of the flowers
were calling my name saying
paint me, paint me. And
as always painting outside always
makes me hungry so of course we
made time for lunch.

The Dream Catcher Daily Still Life by Patty Ann Sykes

The Dream Catcher”
9 x 12 Original Oils on
Raymar Panel $169.00
The items in my still
life today belong to
my brother.  He loves
eagles and Native American
artifacts.  The vase was
created by another
artist from Georgia.
This was fun pairing
different objects with
cloth. I am having fun
stretching my limits on the
still lifes.

Desert Rose Daily Flora Oil Painting by Patty Ann Sykes

Desert Rose”
8 x 10 Original Oils on
Pastel Board $99.00
While on a short mini vacation,
a couple of years ago, we stayed
in a very nice Bed and Breakfast in
Indiana.  But what was so different was
they were growing roses and Prickly Pears
together.  They were beautiful and
I mentioned this to the owner so she
gave me a cutting of the cacti and said
just to put it in the soil and it will grow.
And she was so right, now I have many
Prickly Pears, but they only bloom for one
day, so you have to enjoy them fast.

German Village Peonies Flora Oil by Patty Ann Sykes

German Village Peonies”
16 x 20 Original Oils on
wrapped canvas
Ready to Hang  $395.00
My husband and I like to
go to German Village, do
some walking and we always
end up at this great coffee shop
that has the best coffee and
also chocolates. Who can pass that
up.  But we spotted these beautiful
small gardens on way.  The
peonies really captured me.
